Mr. Ed Theme Song - Mister Ed Unplugged
Mister Ed Unplugged features selections from the 1963 Golden Globe winner for best TV series, Mister Ed, which starred Alan Young, Connie Hines, and Allan “Rocky” Lane as the voice of America’s favorite talking horse.
This CD includes new recordings of the Mr Ed Theme Song, The Pretty Little Filly, and Empty Feedbag Blues, from the episodes, Ed the Songwriter, and Mister Ed's Blues, respectively. The two songs, featured along with the theme song, are longer versions, and are the only recordings that exist of the original compositions. All three songs are true to the original versions, both vocally and instrumentally. The original TV versions, may be heard and/or read by clicking on the link to the Mister Ed Fun Page.

Mr. Ed Memorabilia Collectors
The Mr. Ed theme song was written and composed by Ray Evans and Jay Livingston, and originally sung by Jay Livingston, telling the story of the famous palomino. For you Mr. Ed Memorabilia Collectors and TV land historians out there, The Pretty Little Filly and Empty Feedbag Blues were written and composed by Sheldon Allman, who was the original singing voice of Mister Ed. His songs were featured in the episodes Ed the Songwriter and Mister Ed's Blues. The songs were shortened for television, and are presented here in their entirety. These versions are the only recordings that exist of Mr. Allman’s original compositions.
